Narendra Modi’s Cabinet: Composition of Ministers. Just after a single day of the functioning of Modi as the Prime Minister, news making rounds about the composition of his cabinet, based on the social class of the ministers they belong to.

Hyderabad: Just after a single day of the functioning of Modi as the Prime Minister, news making rounds about the composition of his cabinet, based on the social class of the ministers they belong to. It is learnt that Modi’s cabinet include a high ratio of people from upper castes like Brahmin, Rajput, Kayasta, Lingayat, Vakkaliga, Maratha and Vaishya et al. Modi has given them most of the openings, added sources.

Of the total 46 members, 20 belong to the upper castes, while 13 are OBCs, 6 are tribal and only three are dalits. Also, it is learnt that only three people are from other religion other than Hindu in his cabinet – Harsimrat Kaur (Sikh); Najma heptulla (Muslim).
