Loses entire family...survived under debris even after 66hrs

Hyderabad: As many as 61 people died in the Chennai Building Collapsing incident, while 27 people sustained stern injuries. On Friday, two people have been retrieved from the debris. Fortunately, they are alive. Of these two, one is a youngster hailing from Odisha, the other is from Gudivada village of Kebommali Mandal in Srikakulam district. They survived under the debris even after 66 hours.

Nevertheless, the survivor from Srikakulam wondered for whose sake he should live. He got married to his wife just before 5 months on February, 14 this year on the Valentine’s Day. He felt happy to tie the nuptial knot on that day. They were in love, even before their marriage. But, in this tragic incident, he lost his wife in front of him. Her wife Sujatha and her parents were dwelling their lives as the casual labours and have come to Chennai just a day before of happening of the incident. He said that he was saved by an iron rod that screened from them to get buried away. He alone survived in this incident after losing the entire kith and kin.
