New Delhi: Jaswant Singh, a former BJP leader, has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Army's Research and Referral Hospital (R & R Hospital) in Delhi after suffering a head injury last night at his residence, according to sources.
It is learnt that the former Union Minister was found unconscious around 11 pm at his residence in Delhi on Thursday night. The BJP veteran aged about 76 years is believed to have slipped in his residence last night and sustained severe injuries in the head. He was immediately rushed to the R&R Hospital for the treatment.
The veteran was operated by the doctors at the R&R hospital to stop internal bleeding in the head. He is said to be in a critical condition, according to R & R sources.
