New Delhi: Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be in charge of the government when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is away on his US visit, the Cabinet Secretariat confirmed on Friday.
The Secretariat notified that in the absence of the Prime Minister, Singh will be in charge of the government and the cabinet.
During the Japan visit of the PM too, there was an unofficial communication. But this is the first time a letter has been issued to communicate the same.
