Aligarh (UP): Apparently upset over damage to his crops due to unseasonal rain and hailstorm, a 50-year-old farmer committed suicide in Hailya village here, police said today.
Raju hanged himself to death last evening in Mursan area following damage to his crops due to unseasonal rain, his family members said.
According to them, Raju had planted wheat crop in about 6 bighas of land owned by his father Malkhan Singh.
