BJP Must Get Over \'Phobia\' Of Rahul Gandhi: Congress. The Congress on Saturday said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government must get over the phobia of Rahul Gandhi and get down to tackling terrorism with a meaningful resolve.

New Delhi: The Congress on Saturday said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government must get over the phobia of Rahul Gandhi and get down to tackling terrorism with a meaningful resolve.

"Modi government must get over the phobia of Rahul Gandhi and get down to tackling terrorism in a meaningful resolve. Purely by viewing terrorism from the prism of religion is unpardonable, is pitiable, is condemnable," Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala told ANI.

"It is for the first time in history of India that Home Minister of India Rajnath Singh, on the floor of the house and a senior minister of the government today in BJP headquarters attempted to shamelessly link terrorism to colour of a religion," he added.

The BJP had earlier in the day slammed the Congress over former Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shide's 'Hindu terror' comment, saying that looking at terrorism from the point of view of religion weakens country's resolve against terrorism.

However, the Congress had said that Rajnath Singh was quoting Shinde's comment 'out of context' and alleged that the BJP Government was polarising the nation in the name of religion.
