Karachi : The United States has urged India and Pakistan to not allow extremists to prevent them from holding talks on bilateral issues following the deadly attack on Indian air force base in Pathankot.

According to The Dawn, US State Department spokesperson John Kirby urged Pakistan to act against perpetrators of the deadly attack.

He said that the US wants India and Pakistan to resolve all issues bilaterally.

He also said that the US strongly encourages the two neighbours to remain firm on their commitments of a secure future for their countries and for the region.
