spp2Nellore: Collector B Sreedhar recalled that they have been receiving many applications relating to assigned lands during the Praja Dharbar as the poor farmers, who were allocated assigned lands, complained that they did not get Adangal certificates and pattadar passbooks. Hence, he directed the revenue officials to resolve their problems immediately during the 'Revenue Sadassulu'. He said that onus lies on the revenue officials in the implementation of the Andhra Pradesh Land Cultivation Act 2011 that facilitates the strengthening of bond between the farmers and tenant farmers. The main aim of the 'Revenue Sadassulu' is to redress the grievances of the poor and middle class in rural areas, said Collector B Sreedhar. He inaugurated 'Revenue Sadassulu' at Modegunta village in Kovuru mandal of Nellore district on Tuesday. Joint Collector B Lakshmikantham gave a fiat to the revenue officials to install boards on the premises of village panchayats displaying details of patta lands, government lands, forest lands, temple lands, Wakf lands, tanks. "Similarly, the lands that were assigned to SCs and STs, but they were not handed over to them till date. They should be given to them immediately. Moreover, the government lands should be identified for the seventh phase of land distribution. In the same way, the lands, which were granted to SCs and STs, should be developed under rural employment guarantee scheme," he said. Anantapur: Minister for Primary Education Dr Sailajanath said that the State government was conducting 'Revenue Sadassulu' programme with the aim to resolve all pending land-related issues in the State.A After launching the 'Revenue Sadassulu' at Illuru Panchayat village of Garladinne mandal in Anantapur district on Tuesday, the Minister said that through Revenue Sadassulu State government would identify and protect government lands, rectify discrepancies in revenue records and spread awareness among people on Aadhaar and Mee Seva services. On the occasion, he hailed the leadership of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, saying that he had enacted a separate law for the welfare of SCs, STs and BCs and was striving relentlessly for their development.A Sailajanath said that the Revenue Sadassulu would check the ongoing irregularities in land related issues and exuded confidence that with the programme, justice would be done to the genuine land owners and farmers.A He appealed to farmers to avail the facility being provided by the government and to resolve their long-pending land-related problems. A District Collector Durga Das, Additional Joint Collector Chenna Keshavarao, RDO Ismail and other officials were present. Kadapa: Health Minister D L Ravindra Reddy launched 'Revenue Sadassulu' programme at Peddarajupalle village of Bhimatam mandal in Kadapa district on Tuesday.A Speaking on the occasion, the minister observed that in several mandals, the land issues had been pending for several years and exuded confidence that the ongoing Revenue Sadassulu would resolve the problems of farmers and other poor people. He said that the district administration had already identified the beneficiaries of land distribution in the mandal and however, the distribution of land was delayed due to various reasons. He assured that the land distribution programme would be taken up soon and also appealed to the beneficiaries not to sell their lands after the distribution of patta pass books. As Bhimatam mandal is located near a reservoir, the district authorities are planning to provide drinking and irrigation water to the local people permanently. Moreover, efforts are being made to set up a primary health centre in Peddarajulapalle village soon, Ravindra Reddy said. District Collector Kona Shashidar said that the revenue sadassulu would be organised up to April 10 in the district and appealed to the people to avail the facility by bringing their problems to the notice of revenue officials in their respective areas during the programme. Joint Collector Nirmala, Sub-Collector Preethi Meena, Special Officer Dasharatha Rami Reddy, DRDO Project Director Gopal and other officials were present.
