YS Sharmila, the misguided missile

In the last couple of years, YS Sharmila has been focussed by the YSR Congress Party to bridge the gap generated between the people and the party and also to tackle the vacuum created by the YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who was caged in the jail. The most befitting reason for bringing YS Sharmila instead of YS Vijayamma in the front might have been the latter’s ineffective communication skills.

YS Sharmila, in her first ever speech made it a mention that she was the arrow from the bow of YS Jagan and iterated her as the missile in Jagan’s armoury.

In general, a missile is any object thrown into space for the purpose of destruction, provided it can be guided even after its launch. More specifically, a missile is a guided weapon. By guided we mean that it can be controlled even after its launch. For a guided missile, continuous tracking of the missile is a necessary condition. However, based on this very fact, YS Sharmila, the missile launched by YS Jagan seems to be a misguided missile as she was not seen in the media or even heard of her whereabouts for quite some time.

News is making rounds that YS Jagan couldn’t digest the parallel popularity of Sharmila and that was the only reason, he deliberately sidelined her from the political scenario.

Whatsoever the case may be, YS Sharmila, due to her sudden desertion from tracking loop has been leading for many speculations by the media. Due to the sudden missing of the missile (YS Sharmila) from the tracking loop, she could be precisely termed as a “misguided missile”.
