Domakonda: Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and Government Whip Gampa Govardhan inaugurated Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women here on Wednesday.
The Agriculture Minister said the government has been implementing several welfare schemes every year. “The present degree colleges would be upgraded into PG colleges next year. The objective of the government is to expand education extensively.
The responsibility of students golden future lies with the teachers,” he added. The Government Whip assured 10-acre land in Kamareddy for the college. He also inaugurated school building. Degree College Principal Janardhan Rao, staff and others participated in the event.
