With their activities picking up publicity through the social media, several people came forward to extend financial help for the noble cause and their team members rose to 220.
Evan retired employees joined their team. Earlier, they sued to feed 30 people on every Sunday but now they are in a position to feed 450 people.
Food is cooked in Naveen’s house in the city every Sunday and the activities start form 5 AM.
The members of the Food Bank visit bus stands, railway stations and various temples in the city to distribute food to the poor. They distribute biscuit packets, bread, eggs and bananas. Apart from Sundays, they also distribute food on festival days of Deepavali and Ramzan.
