Boy forced to dip hand in hot oil

Prakasam: In shocking incident, an 11-year-old boy was made to dip his hand in boiling oil. The incident has been reported from Pokuru village in Valetivaripalem mandal of Prakasam district. It is learnt that the boy was accused of stealing a mobile phone and was thus asked to put his hand in hot oil to prove his innocence. The boy identified as Penchalaiah suffered severe burns and moved to a nearby hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the boy's parents filed a police complaint.
