Tirumala: Splendour and gaiety marked Ugadi festival at the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara, Tirumala, on Thursday. Special rituals like - visesha padi procession and visesha nuthana vastrams procession was performed inside the Vimana prakaram of the temple complex followed by the auspicious `Panchanga Sravanam' to the processional deities of Lord Malayapa and his consorts atop Sarvabhoopala Vahanam in Bangaru vakili, in front of the presiding deity, by the temple priests.
