Sreesanth's journey from Kerala to Mumbai....

Sreesanth is a changed man now. In a brief exclusive rendezvous with Lipika Varma he discloses the experiences of life...Especially the sour experiences of life while in Jail, about his dancing ability, love of family. Shift to Mumbai and friends in the Bollywood industry and more-
Forgetting the past Sreesanth explains,” I would definitely like to disclose who my friends were really during my testing times, once the case is over.” After a thoughtful silence he adds,” Well! I feel- I need not even discuss about the bad ole’ days. We all need to look ahead in life and be prepared to face the good times as well the “Bad times.” Being in the jail I regularly gained confidence only by leaving all my worries unto the almighty God. With every passing day, I gained a lot of confidence with the blessings’ of my parents and my family members, who have stood by me during the thick and thin days of mine. “
All praises for his mother and father he adds,” My mom and dad have always taught me good things I follow them always. I may have gone through the testing times merely because of the situation. I believe- Undeniably, my faith and regular prayers have brought me out of this ugly situation. I am just waiting for my case to get over, and I will come out clean. I am hopeful of a brighter future ahead.”
Sreesanth maintained his physical robust persona against all the odds,” Yes! I belong to Kerala. I wanted to continue with my ground practice .I was denied the privilege of playing cricket but with whatever, little monetary help I could extend for my self –I purchased a ground for myself. I rigorously practiced on the grounds, performed my “Yoga and exercise regularly in order to keep up with my strong physical self.”
Sreesanth further adds,” I have learnt to move ahead in life with patience. I am sure all odd days will get over very soon. It is just the beginning of my happening days. I am coming back with my school day’s passion- Dance. I was very fond of dancing and participated during school functions mainly for dance shows. I have leant “Break Dance as well as “Street dance.” Dancing is totally a different league from “Cricket”. I am happy that the “Colors channel has given me a chance to participate in Jhalak Dikhla Ja’. They are very supportive. Well! While dancing as a couple it is necessary to dance in sync with your couple. You can not follow your attitude. You also need to be sharp in memorizing your steps. This is definitely a great beginning for me. But I am still keeping my fingers crossed to once again be able to represent my Country as a Cricketer. I am hopeful of getting a clean chit.”
Sreesanth has terminal knee,” Yes! I have steel rods fixed in both my legs. I did get an offer for the last season of “JDJ, but at that point of time I was on a “Wheelchair.” While dancing for JDJ…I may be limping by the end of the show, undeniably, no one can make out the next day about my knee problem. I am thankful to God for having bestowed upon me a very good as well as a strong body support. Also everyone on the JDJ sets has been helpful and encouraging enough to me.”
Sreesanth has learnt his lessons after the bad phase of his life.” Definitely, Let by gones be gone. I have got all the encouragement from my nieces, nephews and family members. Also, it is because of the support of my wife I have pushed my boundaries on to the dancing level. Winning or not winning is not important for me. Buy yes! I am working hard to get a ten on ten.”
Never a flirt and being married he shifts to Mumbai...” I have never been a flirt. I believe in being honest to my wife. I have learnt tough lessons and I know fully well that no one other than your family will support you while in trouble. My wife loves me for what I am and not for what I do!!”
Adding about sifting to Mumbai he says,” I am married …f I was single I would have never shifted to Mumbai. Today is a “Double celebrations’” for me. My dance shows JDJ’ is launching today as well I entered my new house in Mumbai and performed a Ghrah Pravesh Pooja today. I will be working for Tollywood as well as Bollywood in case I get films. Right now I have just completed music for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, titled Anbulla Azhage ‘which will go on floors in October this year. I am open to Bollywood films too.”
Adapting to Mumbai living he adds,” I have a lovely family. I have my pets and my music is in place with me. I have all these things to live up with. I also have amazing group of friends who have always encouraged me in life. I just want to explore my life ahead positively without looking into the dark past. I just want to work to the best of my ability and be successful in life.”
Being passionate about cricket he says,” I am 31 now. I have another few years to play Cricket.I will surely play cricket for the Indian Team I am passionate about this wish of mine.”
Wearing many threads on his wrist he tells us about his religious belief explaining about the various threads on his wrist he adds, ,” Yes, one thread is that of “Hanumanji,’ Shabramali Ayiabba’s blessed thread, and the “Kali Mother Goddess thread which has been given by my mom after seeking the blessings of the goddess. As a common man I hail from a religious family. I always chant the “Gayatri Mantras “taught to me by my mother. I do get solace and peace of mind thus and come out flying colors facing all the odds in life!!
Last but not the least my message to one and all -” Never cease to perform your duties…be passionate about what you do. Go ahead in life facing the good and the bad days. It is easy to say but difficult to do. But if you do not lose heart success is all yours!!
