The top seeds took just an hour and 12 minutes to beat Israeli-Swedish combination of Julia Glushko and Rebecca Peterson 6-3, 6-4 on the outdoor hard courts of the Guangzhou International Tennis Center. The first set was pretty easy as the reigning US Open champions broke their opponents twice to take the advantage in the match.
