This will be bigger than the earlier two occasions as 50o players from various corporate houses drawn from across the country will vie for honours this time round, according to Reddy Malledi, Managing Director - CDK Global (India), which belongs to the Sikhara Events stables. Gopichand said that this would go a long way in promoting the sport while also addressing the health needs of the corporate professionals.
Competitions will be held in men and women singles and doubles and mixed doubles. Up for grabs will be several individual prizes apart from the coveted Pullela Gopichand Trophy. Speaking on the occasion Sirisha Sripada, Director of Sikhara Events said that the popularity of the event gets evidenced by the rise in participation, which, she said had risen from 75 companies to 108.
