Laasya humbled title contender Akula Sreeja 11-5, 11-7, 11-5, 11-9 in the quarterfinal of the women section. Continuing her brilliant form, Laasya then defeated Naina Jaiswal 12-10, 11-6, 12-10, 8-11, 11-8 in the junior girl’s semifinals.
In the other categories, Vighney Reddy (Men), Nikhat Banu (Women) and S Fidel R Snehit and Saroj Siril (Junior boys) won their respective outings. The finals will be held on Wednesday.
