Chess tournament from July 20

Hyderabad: Telangana State Chess Association (TSCA) will be conducting Festival chess tournaments from July 20, which is the International Chess Day .

Anamchinni Venkateswara Rao, Secretary of the Association said that All India Chess Federation (AICF) has allotted three tournaments to the State under the Chess in Schools Program, of which he is a member “The tournament will be conducted in Khammam, Warangal and Hyderabad on July 20, 21 and 22 respectively.”

“The tournaments will be conducted in different age-group categories of students and separately for boys and girls.” TSCA is making all efforts to promote and develop chess in Telangana State” he said.
