Mumbai: Telugu Titans will take on new entrant Tamil Thalaivas to mark the commencement of the expanded fifth season of the popular Vivo Pro Kabaddi event on July 28.
A brainchild of Mashal Sports, and Star Sports, the countdown began here on Wednesday with the unveiling of the new format and fixtures for the season. It will conclude in Chennai on October 28.
The 12 teams have been divided into two zones of six teams each, prior to the play-offs, which will be held in Mumbai and Chennai, said Anupam Goswami, League Commissioner. Star Sports Network and Hotstar will beam all matches live.
