Hyderabad: The Telangana Hockey’s senior men’s team will be participating in the 9th Hockey India National Championship to be held at Chennai, Tamilnadu from January 7 to 14. Telangana Hockey president Saral Talwar handed over the kit to the team. Considering extreme cold weather sleeping bags are being given to all the five teams. The kit and sleeping bags were handed over to the players by Dinakar Babu, SATs MD. Dr. Vijender Reddy, chairman of Vardhaman College of Engineering and Mukesh Kumar secretary were also present.
The senior team memebrs are: 1.Bantu Sai Vineeth, 2.K.Chandrakanth Goud, 3.Kallem Prashanth, 4.Banothu Aravind, 5.Bhavani Ranjith chand, 6.Gundarapu Sai Prasad, 7.Mohammad Azeez, 8.Motapothula Avineethi, 9.Peddiwar Srinivas, 10.Bodigum Ram Krishna, 11.Mohammad Munthaz, 12.Ashok kumar Ade, 13.Yendala Sagar (captain), 14.R.Durga Prasad, 15.Mylaram Sampath Kumar (vice-captain), 16.J.Raja Shekhar, 17.Gone Rajesh and 18. Feroz Bin Farhajh. The team coach is Alphonse Lazuras of Hyderabad and manager is Md.Imam Kareem of Nalgonda.
