After a successful launch of 12 “MyRoom” concepts in four hotels across India, three “MyRoom” concepts have now been launched at Mercure Hyderabad KCP.

“MyRoom” is a unique concept that enables hotel employees to become more involved in the guest experience. The concept allows employees to curate room concepts that presents guests with a unique staying experience breaking away from the standardised room concept. Mercure Hyderabad has rolled out the concept in three themes – Nizami Darbar, Nature’s Nest, and Comic Room.

As a part of the “MyRoom” concept, the hotel staff ideates on themes close to their heart or their passion in addition to being best suited for guests at Mercure. The three shortlisted winners were selected following internal discussions on the themes. Each selected individual was given an independent charge to decorate and plan the room as per their identified theme.

Nizam Darbar: A tribute to the royal heritage of Hyderabad, generates an exceptional experience for the guests. The room is an authentic testimony to the rich and lavish culture and history of the city of Hyderabad. With its stellar interiors, the room takes one on a beautiful journey of history and indulgence. The stay in the royal room especially themed with the Nizami décor is designed to help guests relive the regal style of comfort.

Nature’s Nest: This room enables guests to feel closer to the nature, with elements such as green Korean carpet, lively aquatic and seasonal greens and chemical free amenities. The lush green room facilities guests to connect with nature allowing them to feel rejuvenated.

Comic Room: Escape the hectic routine of daily life and get a dose of fun and laughter. This room takes you back to the era when laughter was speechless and black & white were more rejoiced than the colours. Themed around the black and white panorama, the room features names of retro movies on the wall frame along with a few of the classic motifs and posters. To relive the old-world charm – an antique telephone, CDs of black & white movies and comic books are also available in the room.
