Chandigarh/New Delhi: The center of attraction at the ongoing India International Trade Fair (IITF) in Delhi is a miniature version of their 600-acre institution which was created and displayed by a group of students from Punjab's Lovely Professional University (LPU).

This project was envisioned by students of as many as five streams. According to sources, the miniature park has been built on a scale of 1:40.

A senior functionary at LPU, Aman Mittal said this was the first ever attempt made by Indian students. He said the model was the mini representation of the actual LPU Campus spread around in 600 acres.
He viewed creating the miniature version of the university and bringing it to the IITF as a herculean task.
He shared the difficulties in making such a huge miniature model and the intricacies involved in bringing the model all the way from Amritsar to New Delhi. Laveen, a B.Tech final year student said students even got innovative by including a futuristic thing in the miniature model.
Of this wonderful miniature model, Mittal said, the architecture of the campus including a man-made lake and India's largest open air theatre will attract the visitors, the most. He said students from the fields of architecture, interior design, civil engineering; fine arts and animation were involved in the project.
