Gionee launches 4 new smartphones

Mobile handset maker Gionee announced launch of four new smartphones into Indian market. Two of them are in entry level and other two in LTE smartphone category. All the smartphones will be going on sale next month and have Android 4.4 KitKat as their underlying OS. The Gionee P4S is a budget smartphone with some high-end features such as a windowed flip cover. Gionee P6 is built around a 5-inch display and semi-transparent design. The Gionee P5L features a 4.7-inch display, MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor and 1.3GHz and a gigabyte RAM whileV6L is with 5-inch display featuring HD resolution and powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC, which has four Cortex-A7 cores ticking at 1.2GHz. “Gionee has always kept itself updated with the latest technology advancements and market trends. Now, we are announcing a host of new products and LTE devices will be our key focus,” said Arvind R Vohra, India Head, Gionee Smartphones said.
