If wearing glasses gets in the way of making your cinematic experience extraordinary, then this new technology points the way to a 3D cinematic experience. completely without those unloved glasses.

“On the big screen the EDS effect is very compelling, very visceral and overwhelming. People are going to feel themselves swaying in their seats, as the onscreen perspectives, enhanced in EDS, convince people that they are moving and the cinema screen is the world outside their spacecraft,” says Rosa Martinez PR exec for Ying Group.

The major differences between 3D and EDS are found in 3D creating an optical illusion while EDS creates a cognitive-optical illusion. 3D works between the eyes and the brain, and potential eyestrain is always on the 3D director’s Radar. EDS works between the eyes and the brain, and the brain and the brain, and as a result is relaxing and
stress free
to view.

“It is too early to say if EDS will become the new 2D, we must wait for the public to tell us what they feel when they are watching EDS. But the big moment for everyone will come when they see their favorite film perhaps 2001, Ben Hur, or Citizen Kane, but in EDS, and they notice something different on the screen for the first time, and then feel that the film feels both different and yet also same, both at the same time. This is what we are waiting for.” says London-based inventor James
Ashbey.

On the small screen, the EDS experience will provide a more lifelike 2D experience -2DPlus; and on the big cinematic screen, the EDS technology promises a complete 3D experience without glasses -full3D.

Take a look at some popular moments from recent Hollywood blockbusters to analyze and appreciate the difference this technology makes to the moving image on your own personal (smaller) screens – we begin by presenting a side by side comparison, as your introduction to this new image world, and perhaps new era.
