NEW DELHI: The second public beta of its upcoming operating system iOS 12 was released by Apple. The public beta gives non-developers an opportunity to try and use the latest features of of iOS 12, which is set to release in September along with the 2018 lineup of iPhones. The second public beta comes just a week later of first public beta release. It reportedly has most features same as the developers version.

The latest beta includes Apple Maps update, new activity-themed stickers in Messages and removes the CarPlay and GPS bugs which were reported in the first public beta.

In accordance to this, the other changes that are part of the new iOS 12 public beta release. The version fixes the issue with third party apps like Skype and Twitter. The company has also brought back its weather widget and spam calls and texts no longer display a blacked out message.

In order to be able to use the new feature, the users need to sign up for the Apple Beta Software Program. If already a member then you can download the iOS 12 Public beta 2 by going to the Settings app and selecting General > Software update. After this, you have to click on software and install the latest version.

As Apple is gearing up for its September launch new rumours and leaks around the new iPhone models keep appearing online. Now a latest leak has surfaced online suggesting that the new colour variants of the upcoming iPhones. According to a report by 9to5Mac, the Cupertino-based tech giant may launch the cheapest iPhone in ‘Grey, White, Blue, Red and Orange colour. Readers must note that as per his previous information, this is said to be featured with a 6.1-inch LCD display and is said to be a ‘budget’ iPhone X with an estimated price between $600 (roughly Rs 40,300) to $700 (roughly Rs 47,000).

On the other hand, the 6.5-inch iPhone is said to come in Black, White and Gold colour options.
