The Crowdera Foundation has announced the launch of THRIVE5,a global startup accelerator program, powered by Gocrowderacom, Amazon Web Services AWS Activate Program, F6Ss Alpha Program and other partners
Thrive5 is a 360-degree support program for startup entrepreneurs to learn, be empowered, collaborate and create.
New Delhi: The Crowdera Foundation has announced the launch of THRIVE5,a global startup accelerator program, powered by Gocrowdera.com, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Activate Program, F6S’s Alpha Program and other partners. THRIVE5 is designed to support for-profit and nonprofit startups & social enterprises to accelerate their launch and very early stage growth. The program aims to support with their fundraising, cloud hosting, marketing, mentor-hiring and much more. THRIVE5 is India’s first international accelerator program that will offer co-founding mentor & an entrepreneur exchange program to a select few applicants.
To start with, Crowdera Foundation, together with its partner organizations, has set up a grant of $15 million, under the THRIVE5 program, which will be utilized to back startups with entrepreneurial ideas aligned with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). A startup, once accepted in the program, can get benefits of up to $50,000 in seed funding and upto $250,000 fundraising support. Startup applicants can receive up to $2000+ in immediately redeemable benefits including AWS and Crowdera Credits, for just applying to the program.
Chet Jainn, Founder,Crowdera says, “The grants program has been modelled in a way to best benefit startups, grow our economy and increase employment – yes! it is a giveback program. Crowdera Foundation aims to help start the dream ventures of people who have entrepreneurial spirit, technical competency or just a realistic idea that they want to execute, but need an access to funds for this. This Startup Grants program will provide them with an access of funds in the form of a grant. We want to see these startups succeed! The program is set to launch in early January 2019".
The Program expects to support about 1000 startups within a timeframe of 5 years (2019-2024). It also offers co-working spaces in 5 cities in India. Other than fundraising, the program will also offer many worthy auxiliary benefits such as training modules conducted by domain experts both online and offline. Networking with investors and other fellow entrepreneurs, education and mentorship, access to special events, co-working space, and most importantly it will offer an Fundraising Strategy Associate to help increase the odds of fundraising success. Program Coordinators & Startup Evangelists will help Startups get the most out of Crowdera Foundation’s Thrive5 Program. The extra backing in terms of unfailing support works as a competitive advantage for the startups and creates a sustained eco-system towards growth.
The Program Partner, Amazon Web Services Coordinator says, " The AWS Activate program intend to support startups with the resources they need to embark a successful establishment on Amazon Web Services, including training, credits and support. AWS Activate has Portfolio packages for startups in select accelerators, incubators, seed/VC funds and other startup enabling organizations.”
THRIVE5 will welcome applicants launching/ working in the field of AI, IOT, Blockchain, Fintech, HealthTech, EdTech, SocialTech, AgriTech, Charity-NonprofitTech, RuralTech and other technology agnostic Social Impact projects across India, United States and Singapore.
