Hyderabad: Sirikonda Madhusudanachary to turn the first speaker of Telangana state assembly on Tuesday. When his name was proposed by TRS Party, the same was supported by Congress, TDP, MIM, CPI and CPM parties. KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana, himself proposed Madhusudanachary’s name and signed on the nomination papers.
It was also supported by Geeta Reddy, Ramreddy Venkat Reddy, Redyna Naik of Congress party; Errabelli Dayakar Rao of TDP, Pasaha Khadri of MIM, T. Venkateshwarlu & P. Venkateshwarlu of YSR Congress Party, Ravindra Naik of CPI, Sunnam Rajaiah of CPM and Donti Madhava Reddy an independent MLA. They all have signed on the nomination papers. All those candidates including KCR who supported the candidature of Madhusudanachary have met the Assembly Secretary and participated in the nomination submission programme. The election of Madhusudanachary has become a mere formality. It would be announced by Jana Reddy, the pro-time speaker officially on Tuesday and with immediate effect Madhusudanachary would take over the responsibilities.
