Karimnagar: The last rites of engineering student Dasari Srinidhi, who drowned in Beas river, in Himachal Pradesh, were performed in her native village Rekurthi, on the outskirts of the town, on Monday.
The body was kept at her house for relatives and residents to pay homage. Srinidhi’s mother fainted near the body, as the parents have been waiting daily since a month to know her fate. She was among the 23 City engineering students who were drowned last month.
