The couple, who belong to Kistapur, were baffled on Friday morning when they came to know that their son Darshan was alive and was undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad. This incident came to light as their son regained consciousness and told the hospital authorities that his name was Darshan and that he was the son of Swamy Goud.

Talking to the media in the presence of TS Minister for Irrigation T Harish Rao, Swamy Goud said that it was a big mistake. He said soon after the news of the ghastly accident broke, he and his wife rushed to the spot and after desperately battling for an hour they traced the body of a six-year-old boy identical to their son.

Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah on Friday said the condition of nine of 20 students admitted to the hospital was stable. Speaking to media persons after visiting the injured children at Yasodha Hospital in Secunderabad, Rajaiah said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was constantly monitoring the situation and was being apprised of it by the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police. He said the CM had already informed the hospital authorities that the entire cost of treatment would be borne by the government.

Minister for Irrigation T Harish Rao also visited the hospital and consoled the relatives of the children who were undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, the Telangana Transport department blamed the driver of ill-fated school bus for the train tragedy that took place at Masaipet in Medak district. In a report submitted to the Chief Minister, the officials stated that driver's negligence had led to the accident.

He clearly instructed them not to yield to the pressure of anyone, and promised to fill all the vacant posts in the transport department in the near future.
