Hyderabad Marathon gets good response

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Marathon 2014 began at People’s plaza, Necklace road on Sunday. The Marathon got a good response from the participants. The important details about the marathon are as follows:

• Race ends at GMC Balayogi Stadium, Gachibowli.
• Finishers receive a finisher’s medal, electronic finisher’s certificate, and individual care, both on and off the course. Further, they will receive food, beverages and medical care.
• Runners who fail to report to the start line within 30 minutes of the start could not have their times recorded, and could not receive aid along the route.
• Runners are encouraged to finish within the cut off time of 6 hours 30 minutes. A sweeper bus follows the race at 6 hour 30 minute pace and you will be given an opportunity to board. However, if the runners intend to finish at a slower pace, the marathon team does not guarantee support along the route due to government regulations.
