EFLU Vice-Chancellor Member of President’s State Visit to Bhutan

Prof Sunaina Singh, Vice Chancellor of EFL University is a member of the high level delegation accompanying the Honourable President, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, on his State Visit to Bhutan on November 7 and 8. The visit, at the invitation of His Majesty, the King of Bhutan, is intended to expand our bilateral partnership and strengthen bonds between the two nations.

Prof Sunaina Singh is a member of the delegation as a representative of educational and academic institutions; she is one of the two academics who have received this prestigious invite. Prof Singh said that this rare honour was an acknowledgement of the role that EFLU plays in empowering people all over the world through training in English. The University, with support from the Ministry of External Affairs, has several international ventures, most popular being the International Training Programme and Centres for English Language Training, both aimed at equipping students, civil servants, professionals and businesspersons in various countries with adequate English language and communication skills. Prof Singh added that it was a great honour not just for the University but also for the state of Telangana.
