Inter student dies in road accident

Warangal: Kalyan (19), an intermediate second year student, died and two others sustained injuries in a road accident in Warangal on Sunday. Kalyan was a native of Kapuwada in Hanamkonda.

According to the police, the accident took place at Pochamma Maidan during the wee hours. Kalyan and his classmates Sandeep and Rahul were said to be travelling on a motorbike when the mishap occurred. The bike hit a road divider and Kalyan suffered a severe head injury. He died on the spot Sandeep, who suffered severe injuries, was shifted to Hyderabad for treatment while Rahul was discharged from a local hospital after treatment. Mattewada police registered a case.
