Awareness rally on swine flu
Municipal chairperson N Umarani, Municipal Commissioner Shailaja and officials along with students belonging to various government colleges have participated in an awareness rally on swine flu here on Saturday. Awareness rally was organised from Chavadi centre to old bus stand in Metpally town.

Awareness rally was organised from Chavadi centre to old bus stand in Metpally town.
Speaking on the occasion, Umarani said the people should consult doctors immediately if they experience cold, cough, throat pain and affected with viral fever. Shailaja stated that officials would set up flexis at main junctions making an appeal to people for taking precautionary measures against swine flu. She further stated that municipal vehicles would be utilized for making public announcement in the town to create awareness among people about taking preventive steps against swine flu.
