Warangal: Dr.Tatikonda Rajesh who was stripped of deputy chief minister post by TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, has been receiving support from unexpected quarters.

Especially after the reports that he was admitted to a hospital on Tuesday complaining of chest pain, support was pouring in from across the district on Wednesday.

Despite some resentment over the workmanship of Rajaiah in the district, the response he was getting following his ouster from the State Cabinet on Sunday was huge. Like the top brass of the TRS, the district leaders too are tightlipped and not willing to talk on the issue having known that the decision was taken by none other than the Chief Minister. They have been closely watching the situation.
The buzz among the political circles here is that the TRS landed itself in an inexplicable situation from where it can neither go forward nor backward. Not letting the opportunity go waste, the Congress and Telugu Desam leaders, who earlier demanded the dismissal of Dr Rajaiah from the Cabinet for his failure in taking measures to contain the spread of Swine Flu in the State, have also changed the track and launched a tirade against the TRS government.
TPCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah, other senior Congress leaders Bhatti Vikramarka, Mallu Ravi, Shabbir Ali, Telugu Desam leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao and MRPS founder president Manda Krishna Madiga all came in support of Dr Rajaiah to corner the TRS in its own backyard. Although KCR discussed at length about the irregularities in the appointment of outsourced personnel in the medical and health ministry, the TRS top brass didn’t come up with any sort of allegations against Dr Rajaiah openly.
This came as an added advantage for the Opposition who time and again launched a tirade against the CM accusing him of highhandedness. Meanwhile, protests and criticism from all quarters continued in the district especially from the MRPS activists. Speaking to The Hans India, TRS district president Takkallapalli Ravinder Rao said that they were not worried about the hue and cry raised by the Opposition parties. “Whatever the decision KCR takes is for the good of Telangana People and it has nothing to do with caste and Creed",Rao asserted.
