Depressed farmer dies of heart attack

Khammam: A cotton farmer, Venkati died of heart attack at the cotton market yard here on Monday. Venkati, who hails from Nerada village of Chintakani mandal, has brought 12 quintals of cotton to the market yard in the early hours on Monday. Venkati was depressed as businessmen and officials of CCI were not willing to purchase his produce even after repeated requests.Another farmer G Achaiah said that Venkati suffered heart attack and fell down on cotton bags while he was discussing about his debts with other farmers in the market yard.
