Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) team met & congratulated Singireddy Niranjan Reddy on his appointment as Vice-Chairman of Telangana State Planning Commission which is accorded as cabinet rank status.

TITA requested TSPC Vice- Chairman to plan for developing second rung cities like Warangal and Karimnagar as smart cities to attract IT investments. Talking to the members of Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA), S. Niranjan Reddy said that Telangana State Planning Commission will play a key role in developing Telangana state including IT Industry with new strategies and better planning.
Telangana Government will be utilizing every opportunity to achieve the promised ‘Golden Telangana’. “We congratulate & thank Telangana Government for appointing a dynamic person as a Vice-Chairman of TSPC, who had played a prominent role in Telangana Movement.
TITA requested Vice Chairman of TSPC to give top priority for developing Tier-II cities like Karimnagar & Warangal as smart cities. Tier II cities are generating a lot of IT professionals in various domains. The visibility of these cities as an IT destination should be re-invigorated with the government focusing on creation of plug and play infrastructure providing a right IT ecosystem.
TITA appreciated Telangana Government initiation of T-HUB, the country’s largest start-up incubation center at IIIT and request to plan in Tier II cities also.” said TITA Founder & President Sundeep Kumar Makthala. Makthala, also cited that he is happy to know that TITA advisor Mr. Sangameshwar Rao was appointed as OSD to the Vice Chairman of TPSC, who was also present in the meeting.
“The most direct and significant result of economic growth is when we get the amazing improvement in quality of life. Currently, our major concern is about carbon emissions which are badly affecting global warming. We want our TSPC to be focused more on remedial measures and develop new policies that will reduce carbon emissions.
Investing in renewable energy is a smart and cost-effective solution for delivering sharp reductions in carbon emissions. TSPC has to adopt innovative approaches in providing effective sanitation, public transport, clean water and waste management, as these parameters are going to turn our cities as a world class cities and attract more IT Investments.” said Pallavi.
