Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha has called upon government doctors fraternity to come forward to improve health services in rural areas of Telangana State. Medical services being offered in government sector is very less in India when compared to other nations of the world, she felt.

Addressing the ‘Hyderabad Youth Assembly’ meeting organised by a students’ body here, Kavitha stressed on the need to strengthen health services in districts particularly remote areas. Government doctors should voluntarily come forward to realize this and they would be duly rewarded with incentives and other benefits, she stated.

She explained about Telangana government’s big plans on education sector particularly the KG to PG education scheme that would be implemented in the near future. Also, the Telangana government is taking to energy conservation measures in a big way. Very soon all the street lights in GHMC limits would be converted into LED lights, Kavitha said.

The Nizamabad MP lauded both the state and union governments for their various initiatives for safety of women.
