Hyderabad: The Chief Justice of Hyderabad High Court, Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta expressed dissatisfaction with the counter affidavit filed by the Army in Mustafa’s murder case at Mehdipatnam garrison and ordered to file a fresh affidavit.

Advocate Gulam Rabbani on Monday had filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the High Court. The Army in the first week of February filed the affidavit saying that civilians might have entered the Army premises at Mehdipatnam garrison dressed in military uniforms and could be responsible for the murder of the 11-year-old boy.

Rabbani informed the court that Army garrison was a very high security zone and it was not possible for any civilian to enter the area.

The court after hearing the objections of the advocate, ordered the state government to file a fresh affidavit after conducting inquiry.

The SIT is still investigating the murder case. No arrests have been made so far.
