Focus on guarantying quality in teacher education is this year’s conference’ underlying theme as the belief stands that quality in teachers’ learning leads to better learning outcomes for our learners.
The quality of teachers’ performance in terms of its impact on the students indirectly impacting on larger social transformation is the bottom line of teacher education. With a focus on quality in both pre-service education and in-service training, the theme is to allow a wide-ranging discovery of teacher education in India and beyond.
In the three day event, from around 30 countries, more than 1100 delegates including ministerial officials, teacher educators, heads of colleges and universities etc. from around 30 countries are participating.
