KTR fails to respond to suicides of weavers: Revanth Reddy, Motkupalli fault TRS govt for its ‘pro-rich’ approach

Sircilla (Karimnagar): Telugu Desam Party (TDP) deputy floor leader and MLA A Revanth Reddy said that it was not as easy as imagined to wipe out the TDP from Telangana state. The TDP MLA said he was ready to fight to protect the party workers from harassment and poaching. While addressing a party workers meeting at Sircilla town on Saturday, the TDP leader came down heavily on the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his son and Minister K Taraka Ramarao.

Apart from Revanth Reddy, other TDP leaders L Ramana, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Motkupalli Narasimhulu, Peddi Reddy and large number of workers from five mandals have attended the TDP meeting of the Sircilla Assembly constituency. Revanth Reddy asked as to why Taraka Ramarao was not responding to suicides of weavers.

Referring to the K Chandrashekar Rao’s remarks of providing jobs for those, who have born and studied in Telangana, he wondered why KCR had inducted his son into the cabinet who had studied at Guntur, Pune and USA. The TDP leader flayed the local TRS leaders for referring to the TDP workers as dogs. He pointed out that dogs were always faithful to his master.

“Likewise, party workers would be faithful to fight on behalf of poor and weaker sections of the society,” he added. Motkupalli Narasimhulu asked the Chief Minister whether he had sanctioned 100 square yards of land to a single person after coming to power. He slammed the TRS government for its pro-rich approach. He stated that people have cast their vote in TRS favour in the previous elections as it declared Dalit would be made as Chief Minister.
