Pesarattu features on Parliament canteen menu

There\'re a couple of new dishes on the Parliament canteen menu: Pesarattu and upma, courtesy TRS member A Jitendar Reddy, who is also the chairman of the Parliament canteen committee. Reddy decided to introduce two dishes to promote Telangana\'s rich cuisine among MPs. On Tuesday, he went around the Central Hall urging them to taste the dishes and let him know what they thought of the two dishes,
New Delhi: There're a couple of new dishes on the Parliament canteen menu: Pesarattu and upma, courtesy TRS member A Jitendar Reddy, who is also the chairman of the Parliament canteen committee. Reddy decided to introduce two dishes to promote Telangana's rich cuisine among MPs. On Tuesday, he went around the Central Hall urging them to taste the dishes and let him know what they thought of the two dishes, and also to encourage regional cuisines in the canteen. At least 100 items were ordered by Reddy, it is learnt. And as someone who loves pesarattu, we can only say, we like!
