Most of the petitions related to elected MLAs of the city.

The election petitions include two filed against Akbaruddin Owaisi from Chandrayangutta constituency, two against Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri from Charminar constituency, Ahmed bin Abdulla (Malakpet) , Jaffar Hussai ( Nampally) , Mohd Moazam Khan ((Bahadurpura), Kausar Moinuddin ( (Kaarwan) Mumtaz Ahmed Kahn ((Yakutpura), K P Vivekanand ((Qutubullapur) R Pratap ( Ghanapur SC reserved constituency) Warangal, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy (Nalgonda) Arekepudi Gandhi (Serilingampally). The judge referred to the provisions of the Representation of Peoples Act.
