A tribal woman Bukya Kalavathi, the wife of late Dr. Ramji, of Khammam filed a writ petiton in the High Court against Renuka Chowdary and several others alleging that Renuka had received Rs 1.1 crore from her husband by making false promise to secure him the Wyra ST reserved Assembly ticket.
In the complaint, she also mentioned that Dr. Ramji died of brain hemorrhage due to the debts. Recently, the court directed the police to register an FIR against six persons including Renuka and investigate the case.
Following this, Renuka's supporter Sidulu Naik conducted a press meet on the issue. Angered by this, Bukya Kalavathi attacked him with the slipper and created ruckus at the meeting. Tension prevailed at the press meet for some time.
