New Delhi: Enforcement Directorate officials on Monday attached properties worth Rs 2 crore of former minister of state for coal Dasari Narayan Rao in connection with its money laundering probe in the coal block allocation scam. Sources said that attachment includes Rs 50 lakh cash, some immovable properties in Telangana and luxury cars, all belonging to the former minister. It is alleged that Naveen Jindal's Jindal Steel and Power Ltd had transferred Rs 2 crore in Rao's company Saubhagya Media Limited in lieu of favour given by the then minister.
