TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy questions the hike on power charges

With Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission increasing the electricity charges in the state, a lot of flak is being received for the move.

Questioning the Telangana State Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for hiking power charges, All India Congress party PCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy stated that the charges have been hiked earlier when the state was not divided, but the charges hiked now are equal to the earlier hiked charges.

With the Coal Charges dropped, Uttam Kumar Reddy also criticized the CM KCR for increasing the burden on common people by hiking charges and for encouraging defections of legislators into TRS, instead of focusing on Telangana State development.
