7,311 project oustees to get houses.At last, the displaced families of Jalayagnam, the previous Congress government’s initiative to build irrigation projects, have been provided rehabilitation.
Hyderabad: At last, the displaced families of Jalayagnam, the previous Congress government’s initiative to build irrigation projects, have been provided rehabilitation. The Telangana government took a significant decision to provide houses to nearly 7,311 displaced families in various mandals of Karimnagar and Mahabubnagar districts as part of R & R package.
The Housing Department issued GO 42 in this connection on Thursday. As per the GO, 4,723 families in Karimnagar and 2,588 families in Mahabubnagar will be benefitted. The Housing Department would construct these houses under Indira Awas Yojana scheme.
The displaced families hail from Cheerlavancha village in Sircilla mandal, Rudravaram in Vemulawada mandal, Boinpally in Kondurupaka and Boinpally in Nelojupally of Karimnagar district as well as Pebbai village in Nagaral mandal, Gattu in Aloor and Chagadonda mandals and Makthal in Sangambanda mandal of Mahabubnagar district. The displaced families belong to SC, ST, BC communities and minorities.
