A day of celebration turns tragic.Fate had the worst in store for young police inspector Siddaiah, who breathed his last at 4:06 pm on Tuesday evening at a private hospital in Hyderabad after fighting with the death for two days.
Hyderabad: Fate had the worst in store for young police inspector Siddaiah, who breathed his last at 4:06 pm on Tuesday evening at a private hospital in Hyderabad after fighting with the death for two days.
The Sub Inspector of police was grievously injured in the encounter with two SIMI activists in Janakipuram village of Nalgonda district on Saturday. On the ill-fated day, when Siddaiah was admitted to Kamineni Hospital at LB Nagar in Hyderabad with grievous injuries, his wife Dharanisha was undergoing pre-natal treatment at the same hospital after delivering a baby boy.
Since his son was born with a gastrointestinal perforation (hole on his small intestine), he was taken to Rainbow Hospital for better treatment when Siddaiah died. However, just half an hour before the young inspector’s death, his wife could see him for the last time.
Incidentally, making matters the grimmest, it was exactly this day last year Siddaiah tied nuptial knot with Dharanisha. Though mired in a slew of misfortunes, brave Siddaiah finally lied down his life for his country.
