The Telangana government will fill about 1.07 lakh vacancies in the next two years. This assurance was given by Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao on the occasion of unveiling of logo and website of Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). The logo and website were launched by Governor ESL Narsimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Saturday.

Hyderabad: The Telangana government will fill about 1.07 lakh vacancies in the next two years. This assurance was given by Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao on the occasion of unveiling of logo and website of Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). The logo and website were launched by Governor ESL Narsimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Narsimhan praised the TSPSC for launching an innovative website and appreciated the concept of one-time registration of all unemployed youth in the State. He hoped that the government would fulfill the promise of providing jobs to all the unemployed youth in the State.

The job seekers shall register on the website of the Commission i.e. www.tspsc.gov.in for job alerts. The information of the candidates will be linked to the Aaadhar card and certificates will be verified using the data base available with the State Information Technology department. After verification of information, a 10-digit password will be provided to each candidate on the mobile number and email address.

The website was designed in way that it automatically sends job notification alert to the eligible candidates by scanning their data. Besides the alerts, it will also send soft copy of the link. The candidate can login with 10-digit password provided to them and particulars of the candidate will be transferred to the application form. Prof Chakrapani, Chairman of the Commission, informed that after studying best practices in all the public services across the country they had introduced the one time registration system.

The chairman of the Commission stated that Kerala government has been recruiting candidates for all jobs in private, corporations, panchayat and local bodies through public service commission. They merged all the employment exchanges with the public service commission. We are very much impressed with their model. If same model is replicated in the State, it will be helpful for everyone, he opined. The first notification for the departmental tests would be released on April 14. Narasimhan advised the Commission to conduct the recruitments in a transparent and hassle-free manner.

He suggested the Commission members to set the question papers outside the State and advised to have bank of question papers in case of any emergency. The Telangana Governor advised commission to issue the year calendar. Minister K Tarakarama Rao said first job notification would be from his department. “By month end notification for engineering posts would be released,” he said and added that those who participated in the Telangana movement would certainly be given preference while filling up the vacancies.

The Commission has also come up with helpline desk where candidates can seek any information or obtain clarification to their queries online by sending emails to the TSPSC help desks.The Commission has also provided the call centre contact number on the website and feedback system on [email protected].
