People are facing problems as in some families, all members are suffering from fever. Lella Pentakka (55), a native of Suraram village, Anupa Bhumaiah of Rapallikota and Besla Lingaiah of Krishnanagar died reportedly due to viral fever within seven days. Though the Medical and Health department officials have set up a medical camp in the area, people were not getting any relief due to shortage of medicines. Even while cases of decrease in platelet count are being reported, the locals allege that the officials were making no arrangements to provide better treatment. Patients were being provided only Paracetamol tablets by the doctors, they complained. People belonging to Suraram, Krishnanagar, Repallikota, Ambatpalli, Lenkalapalli, Yenkapalli, Annaram, Deglur and others.
