Jagdish dismisses allegations of corruption.The Energy Minister G Jagdish Reddy on Thursday challenged the former Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar to make public the evidence, if any, on the corruption allegations made against him.
Nalgonda: The Energy Minister G Jagdish Reddy on Thursday challenged the former Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar to make public the evidence, if any, on the corruption allegations made against him. He addressed media at Suryapet, after attending the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court in connection with the defamation case he filed against Ponnam Prabhakar. He claimed that he approached court since Congress leader has been repeatedly making baseless allegations against him.
He exuded confidence that court would do justice to him. Reacting to the challenge posed by Ponnam Prabhakar, the Minister said that if the Congress MPs and MLAs are ready to resign their posts, he would also resign and go to people’s court.Reminding that few Congress MPs and MLAs went to jail on corruption charges during of the Congress rule, he made it clear that the Congress leaders had no moral right to talk about corruption.
